The Blackfoot received its name from my Blackfoot Indian heritage. The vessel is a 1985, 30′ Sea Ray Weekender. The Blackfoot is the perfect family vessel. With an eleven foot beam, it provides ample cockpit room for fishing. Powered by twin 270 Crusaders (new in 09), she handles the seas well. Her comfortable seating and new canvas enclosure protect you from the elements. The cabin’s dining area is available for eating lunch. Hot and cold fresh water in the galley along with a microwave and Keurig coffeemaker are all at your disposal, as well as a full bathroom with an electric flush toilet. The Blackfoot is equipped with a quality sound system. Feel free to bring your mp3 player, iPod or favorite Cd’s.
The navigation instruments include a Garmin 7212 chart-plotter/fish finder/radar. A Garmin VHF radio/hailer , a backup handheld VHF, and new this year, a Garmin Echomap with Clearvu sonar technology
